June 12, 2017 Special Sale Results

Union Commission Co. at Hondo Livestock Auction hosted their Special Stocker Feeder Sale on June 12, 2017. Recognition was given to the top steers and heifers at the sale. A special thank you to all of the participants.

Our next regular sale will be June 19, 2017 at 11:00am. The next Special Sale will be held August 14, 2017.

• 1st Place Steers Sold by Cowden Bros. of Kerrville, Texas. There were a total of 8 head of steers averaging 525 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.56 for a total average selling price of $819.00 and were sold to Day Cattle Co.
• 2nd Place Steers Sold by Doug Coyle of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 11 head of steers averaging 751 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.46 for an average total selling price of $1,097.65 and were sold to R H Cattle Co.
• 1st Place Heifers Sold by John Windrow of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 7 head of heifers averaging 545 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.49 for an average total selling price of $813.11 and were sold to Fred Graff.
• 2nd Place Heifers Sold by Frank Duperier of D’Hanis, Texas. There were a total of 13 head of heifers averaging 380 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.57 for a total average selling price of $596.60 and were sold to Tschirhart Enterprises.
