February 20, 2017 Special Sale Results

Union Commission Co. at Hondo Livestock Auction hosted their Special Stocker Feeder Sale on February 20, 2017. Recognition was given to the top steers and heifers at the sale. A special thank you to all of the participants.

Our next regular sale will be February 27, 2017 at 11:00am. The next Special Sale will be held April 10, 2017.

• 1st Place Steers Sold by Wesley, L.J., and Maxine Haby of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 12 head of steers averaging 775 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.27 for a total average selling price of $984.25 and were sold to Buzz Jacoby.
• 2nd Place Steers Sold by Kincaid Land and Cattle Co. of Sabinal, Texas. There were a total of 77 head of steers averaging 712 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.3150 for an average total selling price of $937.24 and were sold to Buzz Jacoby.
• 1st Place Heifers Sold by Dos Ninas Ranch of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 711 pounds. The price per head was $2,125.00 and they were sold to Corona Ride LLC.
• 2nd Place Heifers Sold by George Koch of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 6 head of heifers averaging 703 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.11 for a total average selling price of $780.70 and were sold to Day Cattle Co.
