August 13, 2018 Special Sale Results

Union Commission Co. at Hondo Livestock Auction hosted their Special Stocker Feeder Sale on August 13, 2018. Recognition was given to the top steers and heifers at the sale. A special thank you to all of the participants. To view the week update visit our Market Reports Page.

Our next regular sale will be August 20, 2018 at 11:00am. The next Special Sale will be held on October 8, 2018.

• 1st Place Steers Sold by Bob Bendele of Devine, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of steers averaging 636 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.40 for a total average selling price of $890.40 and were sold to Colby Schneemann.
• 2nd Place Steers Sold by Ron Outlaw of Devine, Texas. There were a total of 10 head of steers averaging 589 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.53 for an average total selling price of $801.94 and were sold to Colby Schneemann.
• 1st Place Heifers Sold by Joey Finger of Castroville, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 500 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.72 for an average total selling price of $860.00 and were sold to Anthony Tschirhart.
• 2nd Place Heifers Sold by G & W Farms of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 574 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.37 for a total average selling price of $786.38 and were sold to Corlan.
