October 9, 2017 Special Sales Results

Union Commission Co. at Hondo Livestock Auction hosted their Special Stocker Feeder Sale on October 9, 2017. Recognition was given to the top steers and heifers at the sale. A special thank you to all of the participants.

• 1st Place Steers Sold by U Bar Ranch of San Antonio, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of steers averaging 700 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.42 for a total average selling price of $994.00 and were sold to 4 S Cattle Co.
• 2nd Place Steers Sold by Bill Frerichs of San Antonio, Texas. There were a total of 8 head of steers averaging 585 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.50 for an average total selling price of $881.36 and were sold to Day Cattle Co.
• 1st Place Heifers Sold by Petty Ranch of Medina, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 709 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.19 for an average total selling price of $843.71 and were sold to Gilliam Ranch.
• 2nd Place Heifers Sold by Bob Bendele of Devine, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 539 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.59 for a total average selling price of $857.01 and were sold to Fred Graff Cattle.
