October 10, 2016 Special Sale Results

Union Commission Co. at Hondo Livestock Auction hosted their Special Stocker Feeder Sale on October 10, 2016. Recognition was given to the top steers and heifers at the sale. A special thank you to all of the participants.

Our next regular sale will be October 17, 2016 at 11:00am. The next Special Sale will be held December 12, 2016.

• 1st Place Steers Sold by JL Bar Ranch & Resort of Sonora, Texas. There were a total of 8 head of steers averaging 745 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.01 for a total average selling price of $753.09 and were sold to Day Cattle Co.
• 2nd Place Steers Sold by Ron Outlaw of Devine, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of steers averaging 692 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.05 for an average total selling price of $726.60 and were sold to Day Cattle Co.
• 1st Place Heifers Sold by Paradise Hereford of Devine, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 603 pounds. The price per head was $1,700.00 and they were sold to Fred Graff Cattle.
• 2nd Place Heifers Sold by Petty Ranch of San Antonio, Texas. There were a total of 15 head of heifers averaging 669 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.07 for a total average selling price of $715.83and were sold to Gilliam Ranch.
