December 10, 2018 Special Sale Results

Union Commission Co. at Hondo Livestock Auction hosted their Special Stocker Feeder Sale on December 10, 2018. Recognition was given to the top steers and heifers at the sale. A special thank you to all of the participants. To view the week update visit our Market Reports Page.

Our last sale of 2018 will be on Monday December 17, 2018 at 11:00am. The next Special Sale will be held on February 18, 2019.

• 1st Place Steers Sold by Ronnie Rothe of D’Hanis, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of steers averaging 595 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.40 for a total average selling price of $833.00 and were sold to Union Commission Co.
• 2nd Place Steers Sold byWesley, L.J., and Leroy Haby of Hondo, Texas. There were a total of 7 head of steers averaging 514 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.61 for an average total selling price of $828.00 and were sold to Jody Tschirhart.
• 1st Place Heifers Sold by Bob Bendele of Devine, Texas. There were a total of 5 head of heifers averaging 553 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.31 for an average total selling price of $724.43 and were sold to Fred Graff.
• 2nd Place Heifers Sold by William Holland, Jr. of Lytle, Texas. There were a total of 7 head of heifers averaging 447 pounds. The average price per pound was $1.27 for a total average selling price of $568.78 and were sold to Union Commission Co.
